Services we can offer at our foundry, and with our parent company and partners we work closely with, from concept through to finished product
- CAD design and reverse engineering to include laser scanning
- Pattern equipment, manufactured direct from CAD data, 2D drawings or by reverse engineering, scanning of original components. Wooden patterns produced in the old way
- Castings are produced from fully engineered tooling or hand moulded loose pattern equipment.
- Castings produced from 3D sand printed moulds & cores
- NDT of all castings incorporating chemical and mechanical analysis, penetrant flaw detection, X-ray and CT scaning
- CNC machining of castings from low volume and prototypes to larger batch supply.
- Hipping. The process involves placing castings in a pressurised containment vessel. High temperature and isostatic pressure is used to eliminate the porosity and improve their mechanical properties.
- Vacuum impregnation seals porosity by using a vacuum to remove air from the voids, known as porosity, and then fill them with a chemically and thermally resistant polymer
- Paint, powder coat and wet 2k paint
- Polishing
