Motorsport

Harling has produced cylinder heads and cyclinder blocks in aluminium for OEMs. Suspension uprights and brake calipers are regular items produced by the foundry.

Vintage cars

Cast iron cylinder blocks are something Harling Foundries specialize in, along with brake drums, wheels, gearbox cases, bronze selector forks and water pumps.

Steam

The steam industry, from trains to traction engines, is helped to be kept alive at our foundry. Axle boxes for the steam railways as well as valves and wheels.

Architectral

With our location near the Hastings victorian sea front, we are regularly making repair sections for cast iron railings, as well as repairs and replacements for heritage buildings. We also produce contemporary aluminium spiral staircases and fittings, furniture and plaques.

Horology

We supply cast bar and sheet for clock making in the time-old fashion of sand casting.

Industrial

Valve bodies, rail heat transducers, bronze oil line handles

Other/artists

We regularly make castings for artists, designers and furniture makers. We enjoy the process of producing unusual and challenging pieces.
